  • Product Stability in Waterproof & Heat Dissipation
     
    This product has passed all acceptance tests and delivers great performance in dustproofing, waterproofing and heat dissipation.

    Waterproof Performance 
     
    UV chips operate at relatively high power. Due to the inherent characteristics of LEDs, they generate more heat than white light chips. When the light is turned off, the temperature drops. Combined with water vapor from plant transpiration, condensation may form inside the fixture. We adopt two mainstream commercial solutions:
     
    • Apply high-transmittance waterproof nano coating to isolate internal components from air.
    • Adopt sealed tubes made of UV-permeable materials to stabilize the internal working environment, meanwhile facilitating transportation and installation.

    Heat Dissipation 
     
    The built-in V-shaped aluminum structure rapidly transfers heat from individual UV chips to the entire substrate, avoiding performance degradation or component damage caused by excessive junction temperature. The V-shaped design not only widens the illumination angle, but also expands the effective heat dissipation area.

  • If I have a store or website，what this product could bring for my brand?
    We optimized the cost structure during development. We adopted high-performance chips and anti-aging light-transmitting materials to ensure obvious results for end users.

    The housing is made of black polycarbonate and requires no grounding. The V-shaped heat sink distributes heat evenly. Thanks to its low power rating, it maintains stable thermal balance in all indoor growing environments. It delivers excellent cost performance and brings great profit margins for sellers.

  • Do grow lights have UVB?
    UV specifications are clearly stated on product labels. UV components increase production costs. If you want grow lights that simulate natural sunlight, you can check the ratio of UV chips. You may also use UV test cards or UV-sensitive glasses to determine UV intensity by observing how fast and how deeply they change color.
  • Are UV grow lights bad for humans?
    Yes. Located next to blue light on the spectrum, UV rays can cause severe damage to the retinas. Most UV radiation is invisible, making such harm hard to detect.

    To protect growers, our ICEVER UV lights come with cables for external timers, so the lights can run at preset times. We also strongly recommend wearing protective goggles when working near grow lights. Most full-spectrum grow lights contain high levels of blue light to boost root development. The goggles can block harmful short-wavelength light and protect your eyes.
  • Do plants need UVB light?
    Not all plants require UVB, but most high-light plants do, such as cannabis, tropical ornamental plants and desert plants. UV in natural sunlight helps plants produce secondary metabolites and enhances their growth traits and appearance.
     
    However, UV supplementary lighting should only be used in specific growth stages, as excessive UV will hinder plant growth. Additionally, UV has a sterilizing effect. A small amount of UV can kill airborne mold spores, so UV lights are widely used in commercial cultivation to keep growing environments hygienic. The growing popularity of UV grow lights means professional growing technology is now accessible to more users.
